FAQs

Any student who is pursuing a major in business, Travel Industry Management, or Economics is eligible to apply. You must have at least one active semester before graduating (i.e. if you are graduating this Spring or Summer 2022 semester, you are not eligible, but if you are graduating in the Fall 2022 semester you are eligible).

Yes! As long as you intend to pursue a major in business, you are eligible for membership.

We do not have any specific characteristics of an ideal prospect since every person has different personalities and skill sets. This being said, we are looking for individuals with a desire to better themselves personally and professionally that have potential to grow with DSP as well as invest their time in the chapter.

Yes, you can be a member of multiple Greek organizations. However, if you are a member of another professional business fraternity (Alpha Kappa Psi, Phi Gamma Nu, and Phi Chi Theta), you are not eligible to apply.

Unfortunately, no. Our organization is limited to business majors, Travel Industry Management, or Economics majors.

As a pledge, you will go through a structured program that allows you to hone professional skills and develop yourself further as a student and young professional contributing to the success of the business community. The time commitment you’ll make as a pledge is comparable to an extra class. You will need to attend certain required events including: pledging ceremony, general business meetings of the chapter during your pledging period, pledge meetings, and Initiation Ceremony. In addition, you will need to complete and pass five unit modules on Fraternity history and complete the final exam. Lastly, you will need to attend at least one professional, one social, one scholastic, and one service event during the pledging period. While this may seem overwhelming, pledging is a rewarding experience that allows you to learn about the chapter and what your membership entails.

Yes! Every year, we receive many qualified applicants, but are not able to take all. We highly recommend coming out to our future recruitment events!
